Texas A&M +6 vs Arkansas – 2 units
I love the way A&M fights and plays defense. Wins over Auburn and Alabama in the last 10 days and defensively they held teams to 26% from three the last 4 games. A&M split the season series with Arkansas and the game they lost went to OT. Arkansas is really good but this game means a lot more for A&M because Arkansas is safely in the tournament and A&M could use one more big win to strengthen their resume. A&M had a skid early in conference play and are now 7-1 SU and ATS since February 15thand playing their best ball at the right time. They’re relentless defensively and the type of team that gets extra possessions by doing the dirty work and winning the 50/50 balls. Auburn is a lot more talented than A&M and made a push towards the end but A&M never lost their composure and finished the game. Good free throw shooting team and they’re shooting 44% from three the last 4 games. Hard-nosed defensive game and every point should be valuable.
