Boston College had one of the worst home losses in recent memory when they were beat by Rutgers 48-24. I expect a huge bounce back game from the Eagles and a heavy dose of star tailback A.J. Dillon who is averaging over 100 yards a game on the ground. Rutgers is ranked 107th in the country in rushing defense and will have a tough time shutting down the Boston College running game.
Quarterback Anthony Brown seems to have improved from last season and has 633 yards passing with six touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception. The Eagles defense has given up some big plays this year, but they do lead the ACC with six interceptions.Rutgers was blown out in their last game at Iowa 30-0 and lost quarterback McLane Carter with a head injury and he is doubtful for the BC game. Artur Sitkowski looks to be the starter on Saturday and in 12 career games he has thrown 19 interceptions.
The whole offense struggled against Iowa as they finished with 125 yards of total offense and only 47 yards passing. The Knights will need to play mistake free on offense due to the ball hawking secondary of Boston College.
Boston College -8
