Tulsa has played good football this year but they face a whole different animal come Saturday going up against the Navy Midshipman. Navy has a suffocating defense and Tulsa has some real issues on their offensive line. Look for Navy to create havoc defensively and create a takeaway or two.
Tulsa will also have to deal with the Navy potent ground attack. The Midshipmen have a slew of running backs all with at least one carry this season. They also feature dual threat QB Malcolm Perry who has proven to make plays on his feet this season adding yet another weapon for Tulsa to have to deal with.
Navy will use this running game and their ability to possess the football to control the tempo, time and the game as a whole. 4.2 rush yards per carry is what Tulsa allows on average and this Navy team is going to wear down this interior of the Golden Hurricanes defense and make more plays. Line is quite short, give me the more disciplined, and frankly more talented team to go out and make more plays.
