This is a tough week for survivor. There aren’t too many games that look like easy blowouts and the ones that do would require you to spend a pick on a juggernaut this early in the season.
Here’s a look at some of the top Week 3 survivor options:
Patriots
Dolphins
Steelers
Packers
Out of this group the Steelers are the riskiest in my opinion- Roethlisberger’s numbers dip across the board on the road and the Steelers just let the Browns hang around in Week 1 in a 21-18 win.
Packers should beat the Bengals but I don’t think it will be as easy as everyone thinks – the Bengals shook things up at offensive coordinator last week and that should help them start moving the ball. The Packers have injuries but the Bengals are also without Eifert and John Ross.
Dolphins are playing the worst team in the NFL (the Jets). They flew back from the west coast last week but so did the Jets.
Patriots should be able to put points on the Texans and force Deshaun Watson to play from behind. Even if the Texans front 4 gets pressure on Brady, the Texans are banged up in the secondary and Brady should be able to find mismatches with his WR core. Patriots are the survivor pick for the week.

*If you’re in a survivor where you can buyback after Week 3, take a shot on the Colts home vs the Browns. I took the Colts in my buyback pool after I saw how Jacoby Brissett looked last week vs the Cardinals. I’m expecting big games from TY Hilton and Jack Doyle vs a bad team who just lost Corey Coleman. FYI I’m also playing the Colts +1.5
