Lions have holes on defense, especially at LB. Shanahan’s offense uses RBs and FBs so well in the pass game that it’s hard for a team weak at LB to defend them. No Goodwin for San Francisco, but Pettis and Kittle were impressive @ Min. That was a good loss to a very good team. The 49ers were a goal line fumble away from tying the game up. The Lions and Vikings defenses are night and day.
TJ Lang is out on the Lions offensive line. Stafford was getting beat up by the Jets pass rush at home and the 49ers front 7 should be able to get to him. Morale isn’t very high with Detroit right now and they’re flying to the west coast where they are 2-13 SU their last 15 trips as a franchise and now they’re on a short week. Looking for the 49ers to grab a lead and build on it.
