Eagles moneyline -130 — 2 units

Texans are banged up for this game – Lamar Miller and Keke Coutee both out on offense. DT Brandon Dunn and S Mike Tyson both out on defense. Alfred Blue averages just 3.3 ypc so the loss of Miller is big. Watson has been sacked 52 times this season and if the run game isn’t clicking like normal then the Texans should find themselves in more 3rd and long situations than normal.

Despite the win over the Rams, the Eagles are still not at the level they were at the end of last year. But they still have a really strong front 7 and because Houston’s offensive line is so weak (especially at the tackle spot), Philly’s front 7 can get to Watson and limit his mobility. The pass rush alleviates a lot of the Eagles’ problems in the secondary. DeAndre Hopkins is also going to play through an ankle injury, which only helps the Eagles.

The Texans have squeaked out games on the road – they barely beat the Jets last week, they won 23-21 at Washington, and 19-17 at Denver in a game Vance Joseph gifted the Texans a win.

Philadelphia has a little bit of false confidence right now and it won’t lead to a deep run in the playoffs, but the false confidence is good for this game. Nick Foles obviously energizes this team and the run game has improved with Sproles back and Adams coming on strong. Lincoln Financial Field will be absolutely rocking today and the Eagles walk away with a close win while their fans go nuts with their ski masks on.
