Why this is a 1 unit and not a stronger play is the Packers’ offense hasn’t played great in the 2nd halves so far and Philadelphia needs the game more, but the Eagles pass rush is down 2 of its best defensive tackles and without Darby the secondary is thin. Green Bay’s offense hasn’t clicked much but if there’s a game for Rodgers to get going it should be tonight. Home and in primetime. Doug Pederson has been good on Thursday Night Football (3-0) but this is a challenge with guys hurt on a short week. I’m not overlooking Philadelphia’s ability to rise up to the underdog role, they still will have a shot in this game, but the odds are against them. The run game hasn’t been great. They get Alshon Jeffery back but the Packers’ defense has been really good. If Matt LeFleur wasn’t a rookie head coach I’d consider playing this for more but I’ll play this for 1 unit and look for Green Bay’s defense to set a tone tonight and Aaron Rodgers to take advantage of a young secondary at home in primetime. Green Bay’s also 14-1-1 SU and 12-4 ATS the last 16 home games where Rodgers has started and finished the game. 1 unit Packers.
