The Panthers and Bucs have both shown good offense in the last few weeks but I think that changes for a division game in an early 9:30 ET London start. Tampa Bay scored a lot against the Giants (31), Rams (55), and Saints (24) the last 3 weeks but they put up just 20 in that sloppy Thursday Night Football 20-14 win against Carolina in Week 2. They also only put up 17 vs a good 49ers defense in Week 1. Carolina also has a front 7 that is playing better than any of the front 7s that the Bucs have had success against.
Kyle Allen has played well for Carolina filling in for Cam Newton, but Carolina won a 16-10 game vs the Texans in Week 4 where the defenses outshined anything the offenses did. Carolina’s recent success on offense came against 2 defenses not playing well right now, Arizona and Jacksonville.
I’m betting this because both teams have good front 7s and I just watched Carolina limit Deshaun Watson to 10 points in Houston. The Bucs also have their starting RG and RT out for this game and Carolina’s front 7 should dominate. The Under in this series is also 6-1 the last 7 matchups with the 6 Unders averaging a final score of 33.3. London games have also gone Under 6 of the last 8 times with 7 of those 8 finishing below 48.5
