Ohio St’s struggling in Big Ten play and they’re coming off a 9 point loss at Illinois that was really more than that and Illinois was up 17 with 3 mins left. Indiana turned a corner 2 weeks ago and has double digit wins vs Illinois and Michigan St since and Trayce Jackson Davis has been dominating. Ohio St big man Zed Key hasn’t been 100% healthy all January and their other big man left the last game in a walking boot. Rebounding has been an issue for Ohio St and that won’t get easier vs Indiana. It’s a talented Ohio St team but a lot of people close to the team think Chris Holtmann isn’t getting the most out of them and the January struggles are an annual thing. They haven’t scored more than 60 points in regulation in any of their last 3 road games and are 1-6 ATS since they beat Northwestern on New Year’s day. Indiana won 67-51 at home last year vs Ohio St and a Saturday night game at Assembly Hall isn’t an easy spot to turn your season around vs a team starting to hit their stride.
