Giants +3 vs Jets   1.5 unit

The Giants are trending up after the rough start – 2 games in a row the Giants defense was the best unit on the field – Josh Allen had 169 yards on 5.6 per attempt with an interception and then last week Sam Howell couldn’t do anything and got sacked 6 times. The Jets Oline is 31st in QB pressure and they’re without their 2 best run blockers. Dexter Lawrence has a big advantage over Connor McGovern in the middle and the Giants defense can force mistakes out of Wilson and cap the Jets around 16-17 points. The Jets defense will pressure the Giants Oline a lot but the gameplan for Tyrod Taylor is going to be to get the ball out of his hands quick and in a low scoring game he shouldn’t have to take many chances down the field. The Jets safeties haven’t been good in coverage vs RBs or TEs so high percentage passes to Saquon and Waller can help. Taylor’s a much better decision maker than Wilson, doesn’t hold on to the ball as long, and this game can come down to which defense forces a big turnover. If the obvious pass interference gets called at the end of the Bills-Giants game we are talking about a 3-4 Giants team on the rise vs a 3-3 Jets team and that the Giants beat one of the best teams in the NFL. Low scoring game and the team with the better quarterback getting 3 points.
