They had to sign Daniel Theis last week because they don’t have a backup big that they could play and Bones Hyland has essentially been benched since Harden got there and they’re probably trading him. Norman Powell has a groin injury and Terrance Mann is 0-9 from 3 his last 3 games and teams are leaving him open. The Pelicans are getting healthy – Jose Alvarado and Naji Marshall back and it’s part of why they’re playing well recently – 5 straight wins, 4-1 ATS. Beat the Kings twice, lost to the Wolves by 1 in Minnesota without Zion, and beat the Mavs by 21. The Clippers do not have anyone who matches up well with Zion in this game.
