Celtics -3.5  Game 3        2 units

The Celtics had 18 turnovers in Game 2 and had a lot less ball movement than Game 1. They’re 0-5 in the playoffs when they had 15+ turnovers and 13-2 with less than 15 turnovers. The Warriors forced a lot of turnovers by letting the Celtics to drive against mismatches and then sending help late in the paint once the Celtics were committed to shooting and the Celtics got away from more drive and kick that they’ve had when they’re playing well. Boston should be more prepared against that adjustment and they’re 6-0 SU and ATS off a loss in the playoffs and should be a lot more physical after how Draymond played in Game 2. Smart and Horford both had 2 point games in Game 2 and Jaylen Brown was 5 for 17, all are in bounceback spots. Tatum was shooting and scoring over everyone the Warriors switched on him in Game 2. Boston can still target Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson hasn’t had a 20 point game on the road in the 5 road games since the Grizzlies series started (15.4 ppg). Boston can also drop Theis’ minutes (14 mins, 0 points Game 2) they don’t need him against the Warriors. With more urgency if they’re cleaner with the ball they should get enough offense from Tatum, Brown, Smart and the role players at home to win and cover.
