Curry had 43 Friday night, the Warriors had 16 offensive rebounds and the Celtics were still up 94-90 with 5 minutes left with Tatum shooting 8 for 23 and having 6 turnovers. Boston had 16 turnovers for the game and they’re 0-6 in the playoffs when they have 15+ turnovers and 14-2 when they have less than 15. They’re usually at their best and play a cleaner game right after a loss and have a lot of turnovers – 7-0 after a loss in the playoffs. More ball movement and less isolation/forcing shots. The Celtics play 1 guy in their rotation you could leave open on the perimeter (Rob Williams) and the Warriors are playing 4 non shooters or guys with little impact on scoring in a 9 man rotation (Draymond, Looney, Payton and Bjelica). Draymond has 4 points combined the last 2 games and is 2 for 21 from three since the Grizzlies series. The Celtics scored 120 and 116 in their wins and the Warriors are averaging 105.5 ppg for the series and haven’t scored more than 108 even in their wins. When the Celtics offense is clicking their upside is higher than the Warriors even when Curry has 35-40 because the Celtics role players are outscoring the Warriors role players and the Celtics have more guys who can shoot over smaller defenders. The Celtics also won at least 2 road games in every series so far and should play a lot sharper tonight than they did Friday night.
