After Carolina’s non-conference losses to Indiana, Iowa State, and Alabama in OT they really could use a big non-conference win and Ohio State is one of their last chances to get one. Carolina beat up on softer competition Georgia Tech and the Citadel over the last week and got their offense back in rhythm while Ohio State was off and this is Ohio State’s first game in 9 days. That’s a long layoff before a big game and Carolina is looking to get back in the spotlight after falling out of the top 25. This is a pretty good spot for Carolina to get off to a good start and get out in front and force Ohio St to play from behind.
