TCU -3 vs Texas Tech – 4 units

12pm ET Saturday

TCU got a few of their best players back in the lineup in the last few weeks and they’re playing really well and winning with margin – 6-1 ATS the last month and they beat Iowa by 13 as 6.5 point underdogs and were up 23 in that game, they won at Utah as underdogs and had a double digit lead on the road, and beat Providence 75-62. Texas Tech hasn’t played a Power 5 conference team in over a month they were 16 point favorites or more in 6 straight games coming into this game and now step up in competition vs a team with a better defense, good size, and more depth. TCU beat Tech the last 2 times at home and they were underdogs in both of those games. Tech lost their only 2 games vs good competition this season – lost by 7 to Ohio State, were down 13 and gave up 80 points and they lost by 11 to Creighton and were down 14. TCU is really good defending the 3 and forcing turnovers – Utah had 19 TOs, Providence 18 TOs, and Iowa shot 3 for 17 from three. Tech turns it over 14 times a game and 3 of their top 5 scorers are in their first year with the program. I think playing a soft schedule the last month and a half hurts them to start off conference play and playing at TCU against a team on the rise who has won multiple big games so far and hasn’t lost a game with Mike Miles in the lineup this is a big game at home with two teams from Texas. TCU’s been undervalued against the number, Texas Tech the opposite and TCU can win this game by 3+ possessions.
