West Virginia hasn’t shot well to start Big 12 play – 13 for 56 from three (23%) – and even though Baylor’s in the same position record wise as West Virginia at 0-3 in conference, Baylor had a 17 point lead on a good TCU team and it took Kansas St shooting 44% from three to beat Baylor in overtime. Baylor’s offense is really good with Keyonte George, Flager and Cryer and they should be able to score pretty consistently against West Virginia’s defense which isn’t a typical Huggins defense. Even with the losses to start Big 12 this is still a team with wins against UCLA and Gonzaga on a neutral. West Virginia doesn’t have any wins comparable to those 2 teams and Huggins has been really negative about this team in his press conferences. Baylor won 3 of the last 4 years at West Virginia and Jalen Bridges on Baylor transferred from West Virginia and that helps Baylor with gameplanning. This is likely a close game with Baylor having the better offense to close the game.
