Talent wins out. Bottom line. Sometimes when looking at College Football it’s simple. The team with the more talent will win. Here are a few games in which one side simply has more talent, and that’s why they will cover.
Penn State -17 against Pitt. Simply put, the Pitt offense has not been good so far this season. Now it goes up against a Nittany Lion defense that has been really solid through its first 2 games. They lead the nation in sacks, and are living in the opponents backfield. On offense, QB Sean Clifford has been great, and will continue to be against this Panther defense. I don’t expect things to get out of hand early, because Pitt could contain the run and keep things interesting, but they don’t have the offensive firepower to match up with Penn State. With every quick strike score from PSU, the game will get more and more away from Pitt. I expect a 3 touchdown victory by the Nittany Lions.
