This is a play on 2 programs heading in opposite directions. FSU is trending down – they lost to Boise and somehow survived an OT game last week against UL Monroe. FSU gave up 621 yards to Boise & 419 to ULM. Willie Taggart is a very questionable head coach (1-5 ATS as a road underdog at Oregon & FSU) and FSU is one of the most penalized teams in the country (16 through 2 games, tied for 100th overall), the signs of a poorly coached team. Virginia, on the other hand, is trending up after winning and covering their first 2 games. They have a dual threat QB in Bryce Perkins and their defense is athletic and is giving up only 228 YPG (granted it was against W&M and Pitt). This could be the beginning of the end for Willie Taggart, lay the number.
