Marshall + 12 at Boise State
The Broncos had a great win and an amazing comeback Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee. Boise looked dead in the water in the first half but came roaring back for a 36-31 win. True freshman Hank Bachmeier was remarkable in his first career start throwing for over 400 yards. As a team the Broncos ran the ball 57 times for 214 yards as they accounted for over 600 yards of total offense. Marshall quarterback Isaiah Green also had a career day with four
touchdowns as they rolled VMI at home. This is an under the radar game and I think both teams will compete for conference titles. If the Marshall offensive line can give Isaiah Green time to throw he will be able to find open receivers for explosive plays. The Marshall defense only gave up 103 yards per game last season and they will have to be on point to contain the Broncos running game. Boise had a quality win in Tallahassee and Boise State should be favored, but this seems like too many points. Since 2015 Boise is 21-5 SU and only 9-17 ATS at home during this stretch.
Pick
I think Boise wins this game, but Marshall can keep the game within two
scores.
