We released a late Sunday morning play to clients on Carolina +3 over Green Bay. Carolina won outright 37-29.

We also released a two teaser with Carolina +9 & St. Louis +7.5. Both plays won.

 

Here is what we said about Carolina winning on Sunday (Fun fact – 75% of Vegas bets were on Green Bay in this game and Aaron Rodgers hadn’t lost back to back games since 2010):

“Play Carolina big. It is absurd how Green Bay is favored over an undefeated Carolina team and they are getting no respect. They have one of the best defenses in football and Green Bay just got exposed badly last week @ Denver. Green Bay’s s defense just gave up 500 yards to San Diego a few weeks ago and Aaron Rodgers just had 77 yards vs Denver. Josh Norman at cornerback for Carolina is unreal and can seriously limit Randall Cobb. Carolina wins this one outright.”

Carolina dominated all game and picked off Aaron Rodgers to seal the victory, 37-29….and it wasn’t even that close.

This is what we said about the Rams +7.5:

 Strategy play on the St. Louis Rams here. They play at Minnesota and the Vikings’ offense hasn’t looked good at all this season. They win with defense and running the football…that’s exactly how the Rams play as well. Both coaches want to run a lot in this game – it’s their style and neither want their quarterbacks exposed to very good pass rushes…which is what both of these teams have. I expect a low-scoring, grind-it-out affair and the +7.5 points for the Rams coming in handy as Todd Gurley continues to lead the Rams to victory with a dominating run game. The Vikings are good, but the Rams have held the Steelers, Cardinals, and Seahawks ALL to less than 100 yards rushing. If there is any team that can limit AP it is the Rams. Rams have revenge on their minds after the Vikings beat them 34-6 last year but the Rams have a MUCH better running back and defense overall this time around. Rams pull out a road win 20-17.

The Rams forced OT and covered +7.5 points easily in a 21-18 loss.

Week 9 was a 4-3 week overall.
