The Browns defense should be the best unit on the field tonight. The Browns held the Saints to 3 points in the Superdome through 3 quarters and forced Roethlisberger into a bunch of turnovers the week before. Sam Darnold threw a few bad picks last week and Cleveland should have the edge when the Jets are on offense. Myles Garrett and Larry Ogunjobi should be in the backfield a lot tonight against an offensive line that struggled vs the Dolphins.
The Browns lost to the Saints because of their kicker. The defense created turnovers and Tyrod Taylor moved the ball to Landry, Higgins, and Callaway enough
to win the game. They also played extremely well late in the game. Tyrod Taylor now has 103 rushing yards on 12 attempts this season and Ryan Tannehill just ran for 44 yards on 8 carries against the Jets on Sunday. The Jets also gave up the 3rd most rushing yards to QBs last season. Cleveland now brought in a new kicker who hasn’t had a great career but (for what it’s worth) went 3/3 in the preseason this year. I’m taking the moneyline instead of laying the 3 partially for that reason.
Big night for Cleveland in primetime and this team has talent on both sides of the ball. Third game in 11 days for the Jets. Browns get the W.
