Seattle 21 – Cincinnati 20

Bengals +9.5 covers

The Seahawks were dominated in every part of the game except for the final score. The Bengals had almost 200 more yards of offense, 10 more first downs and led the time of possession by over 11 minutes. Seattle won the turnover battle and were able to escape with the victory in front of their home crowd. They have now won 15 straight September home games. I was not high on the Zac Taylor hire, but the offense performed well even without pro bowl receiver A.J. Green who will be out for the first month of the season.

Andy Dalton had a career high 418 yards and two touchdowns. The Bengals defense was able to hold Seattle to only 72 yards on the ground.

Joe Mixon left with an ankle injury will be something to watch next week. John Ross had seven catches for 158 yards and two scores. Russell Wilson only had 196 yards in the air and it was clear he missed he missed Doug Baldwin who retired after last season.

Bengals opened +2 in their home opener next week vs San Francisco

Seattle opened +4.5 next week at Pittsburgh.
