49ers -9.5, 1 unit
The 49ers are arguably the best team in the NFL right now. This is not a typical line I’d play after the 49ers gave two great performances, but I feel like because they were bad for so long, they are less susceptible to a letdown today with the undefeated record still. Throw in the fact that Kyle Shanahan have a strong dislike for his former boss, Redskins owner Dan Snyder, and I’m led to believe San Fran still plays hard in this game. Case Keenum had just 166 yards on 13/25 vs the Dolphins. If those are his numbers vs Miami (without Xavien Howard by the way), what is he going to do vs the San Fran defense when Robert Saleh is on the sidelines screaming and grunting like he just broke a deadlift record.
San Fran has injuries on the Oline, but I think they can beat Washington’s offense all game. I wouldn’t be surprised if San Fran starts out a little slow but then gets in rhythm and picks things up as the game goes on. Washington’s offense is that bad and this organization is a mess. I’m betting on the 49ers to win this one with field position and wearing the Redskins down.
