The Rams have lost 3 in a row but the Falcons are by far the worst team they’ll have faced after this 4 game stretch. They lost to the Bucs and 49ers because those teams have legitimate from 7s and took advantage of their bad interior Oline, and they lost to the Seahawks 30-29 in Seattle after missing a game-winning field goal.
Atlanta has neither a front 7 or a secondary that’s intimidating. This has been one of the worst defenses in the NFL and they have no pass rush. They gave up 34 points to the Cardinals last week. Gave up 53 to the Texans two weeks ago. This is a major step down in competition from what the Rams have seen and, with Gurley back today, I look for the Rams and McVay to get back on track. The Cardinals’ offensive line is bad and they just put up 34 on Atlanta. Atlanta ended that game with a missed extra point to clinch the loss….probably not a fun week of practice for Atlanta. The Rams have had their problems on defense but Atlanta’s offensive line is bad and this team is sloppy – from the playcalling to the redzone to the turnovers. The Rams have been disappointing so far but if I’m on that team I know if we get this win today we’re 4-3 with Jalen Ramsey on our defense for the second half of the season.
Rams have a get right game today in Atlanta and I’m not even worried about the 1pm ET start, they’ve done this so many times. Rams win by 2 scores.
